  1. Robert and his friend Mike, when they were 9 years old, wanted to learn how to become rich. They asked Mike's dad if he could teach them how, so he proposed a job offer for them to work for three hours each Saturday, 10 cents an hour. After awhile, Robert was getting frustrated and wanted to quit, however, Mike's dad taught his a useful life lesson before he chose to quit. He said “If you learn life lessons, you will do well. If not, life will just continue to push you around.” He kept talking about how if life gets hard and pushes you around and you want to search for a better opportunity, don’t because it will not make you become any richer.
Throughout the book, poor dad had said multiple times to play it safe with money but rich dad does not feel the same way. Rich dad wants to express to people to take risks and do things without regret. He says to Robert, “You spent a life playing it safe, doing the right things. But the truth is you let life push you into submission.” He thinks he was scared of losing rather than wanting the excitement of winning. Overall, rich dad wants people to get out of their comfort zone and do things they are uncomfortable with.

  2. 1) Thinking rich may have a couple of reasons but in my opinion, there is one big way, thinking rich means that you should still be smart with your money even though you have a lot. You don't need to spend it on stuff you'll never lose but even rich people spend it wisely and save it.
    2) Rich dad would disagree and probably tell you to spend it on whatever because you would have the money to use.

  3. 1) To think rich means to think “money smart”. This means that before you go to a store you have a list of what you NEED and you stick to that list. It means that you care about your financial future enough to plan ahead on investments and future purchases. Your brain is always working and thinking about ways that you can save a little bit if money here and there.

    2) Rich dad would say “invest in a mutual fund and have your money work for you.” Unlike poor dad, rich dad is always thinking of ways to expand money and to grow it. Rich dad is thinking rich unlike poor dad who is thinking of safety. Although it’s smart to keep your money safe, it’s smarter to take a risk for it to grow.

  4. To think rich means that you need to think wisely about your money. How you can make it last, and how you can afford the things you need without using all of your money, or without going into debt. You need to have a plan for your money, and be sure to spend it wisely, and not on random purchases. You need to plan out your large purchases and make sure you have enough money saved without having to borrow money to make the purchase.
If rich dad said to “open a savings account to keep your money safe” rich dad would say to invest your money. To make your money work for you instead of you working for your money just so you are able to have it sit in a savings account where it is doing nothing and earning nothing.

  5. 1. In order to become rich, you firstly have to start thinking rich. Spending less money, investing into mutual funds, and eventually when you do end up getting rich from saving instead of spending, continuously remembering to save your money instead of blow all of it on pointless things.

    2. If poor dad tells you to keep money safe, rich dad would tell you to invest it, or find a way to make the money grow. If you just put the money into a savings account, it’s just sitting their. If you were to invest that money, I could grow.

  6. 1) In my opinion, to “think-rich” can have a couple different meanings. It can mean to be smart with your money, such as shopping smarter and setting financial goals. It can also mean thinking like a rich person. The rich dad stated, “Life pushes all of us around. Some give up. Others fight.” He is basically stating that if you always take the easy route in life and never take risks you will never become a wise, wealthy, and happy person. He also states that these few people want to learn something. They want to “think-rich” instead of blaming a job, low pay, or others for there problems.

    2) If poor dad said, “Open a savings account to keep your money safe,” the rich dad would say something along the lines of, “You will die a boring man if you never take risks and always choose to play it safe.” The rich dad is all about taking risks and having your money work for you, instead of working your whole life for money and not really understanding what it is they are working for.

  7. Thinking rich means to do what you like because it’s not about the money. In the book, there’s a sentence that says something along the lines of the dad saying he is not rich because he chose to do something he loves. Therefore, he doesn’t worry about money. However, Mike’s dad thinks rich differently. He uses the knowledge from his banker and others who have taught him how to budget his money.
